Etiamtum is Latin for Still Learning. I'm an artist who is curious about the world and always wants to draw more.

I realized that my broken micron pen would allow me to do shading. So I did several layers of shading. Another weakness of mine is perspective and environments, so I forced myself to work on both of those techniques in this picture. The pictures are based off of classic art like "Persistance of Memory", Cezane's "Still Life with a Peppermint Bottle", "St. George and the Dragon", and other still life's.

Dad bought a Wacom drawing tablet to use with Photoshop, but I got to play with it. This was my first time using the Fire Alpaca drawing program. (It's free and amazing!)

I was trying to get lock picks on King of Thieves. In order to do so, I needed to watch an advertisement, which had a character in basically this pose. I only saw it for a split second, but thought it was worth drawing.

Lab Baby

Lab Baby

There was an adorable baby in a row in front of us during a St. Paul Chamber Orchestra concert, so I decided to draw a baby. Being me, I wanted to draw wings. So I imagined this baby as the result of a lab experiment which grew wings. (Similar the the plot of "Maximum Ride")

Little Dragon Boy, Chibi

Little Dragon Boy, Chibi

I was drawing a character of a shape-shifter I invented, this time as a dragon. His whole family are shape-shifters, which you learn at about 9. He's 13 but can't shift shape yet. He's afraid that he's the rare case of a child which cannot shape-shift. His family tells him that you can't become a mythical creature. However, one day he is defending his little sister when suddenly he realized that he has become a dragon. In the end, he discovers the ability to turn into seven different kinds of dragons. Bwahahaha.
